|
AquaStar was established in 2001.
Joe Frasier, founder and owner, is a fourth generation plumber following in the
footsteps of his father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Plumbing, heating
and air conditioning has been a family business in the upper midwest since 1918.
His great-grandfather, George Frasier, obtained his master
plumber license in 1901 in Rhode Island. He was a
traveling master plumber and worked in New England,
California, Montana, Colorado and finally settled in
Northern Wisconsin. He started his own
plumbing company in Rhinelander, Wisconsin in 1918.
The business continued through ownership of Joe's grandfather,
William, his father, Bruce, and Joe's brother, Phil.
Joe worked in the family
business part-time until completing high school. He
served in the military for several years and returned to the
family business after his discharge.
He was recruited by Lennox
Industries in 1991 where he worked for five years as a
territory manager. Joe determined he preferred working
as a technician. He worked for several Twin Cities
plumbing and heating companies for the next few years.
He decided that he liked running his own business and
started AquaStar. He has been working full-time in the
plumbing, heating and air conditioning trades since 1986.
